10 - jalapeño peppers
10 - pieces of bacon (strips cut in half)
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese (vegetable or onion and garlic flavored cream cheese is recommended)
2 - Elk or deer steaks cut into bite size slices (Any wild game will work. Deer, elk, antelope, dove, pheasant, etc.)
Cut peppers in half lengthwise and remove all seeds and membranes. Lay peppers out in a single layer on a large tray. Put cream cheese in a plastic zip top bag and cut the corner off. Pipe the cream cheese into the cavity of each pepper. On top of the cream cheese, place a piece of wild game steak or breast. Then, wrap each popper with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Then dust the bacon with Hi Mountain Seasonings Bacon Seasoning.
Place on grill cut side up for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed. Poppers will be slightly charred on bottom and bacon should be golden when done.
