November is a magical time to be in the great outdoors chasing whitetails. Studies suggest that up to 90 percent of adult whitetail does will be in estrus and bred from November 5th to the 20th making November the peak month for daylight whitetail activity. But what about that other 10 percent? Southern states, especially the deep southern parts, with warmer climates, those like Mississippi, Alabama and others can experience a later rut with breeding dates ranging from December to February.
